Rosebud Rosebud is a Golden Retriever. She has four brothers. Rosebud always wears a bow in her hair and likes to play sports. _________________________________________________________ Stories The Original Tale of Rosebud
Once upon a time, Rosebud was looking out the window. She smelled something so good. It smelled like a beautiful flower. Rosebud thought, “How long do I have to travel? I’d travel more, but once I traveled for a very long time, but I think this travel will be short.” Rosebud went to see Sploches. When she got to Sploches’ house, Sploches said, “Hi, Rosebud.” Rosebud said, “I really have this beautiful smelling. How do I get to it? It smells like a flower.” Sploches said, “I don’t know what flower, or what type, or what smell. Go to Pal’s house, he might know.” Rosebud jogged down the street, right over to Pal’s house. Rosebud exclaimed to Pal about the flower. Pal said, “What kind of smell does it smell like?” Rosebud said, “It smells like a cherry.” Pal said, “It should be a rose. Go to Harold’s house. He might know.” When Rosebud got there, she exclaimed to Harold about the flower. Harold said, “The roses are usually on Nassau Point. Heart lives there; she will guide you from there.” Rosebud went home and took her car to Nassau Point. When she got to Heart’s house, Heart said, “Come in.” Rosebud exclaimed to Heart about the flower. Heart said, “Go to Cow’s Neck. Up at Cow’s Neck lives Buddy. He will guide you from there.” She took a boat that Heart had with Heart and went to Cow’s Neck. Heart took the boat back. Rosebud climbed up Cow’s Neck and the a half an hour later, she got to Buddy’s house. Rosebud told the story to Buddy. Buddy said, “I’ll have you taken by boat to Rose’s Grove,” so Buddy and Rosebud climbed down Cow’s Neck. Buddy’s boat was there. They went across with the wave-runner to go to Rose’s Grove. When they got there, there was a big, big, 100 miles long patch of roses.Rosebud said, “How can that go all the way back to my house?” Sarah was sick. They picked some roses for Sarah. They took the wave-runner to Sarah’s beach. They took the roses that Rosebud has and went up the stepping stones. They washed their paws with the hose so no germs can hurt Sarah. They dried their feet on the grass outside and opened up the door of Sarah’s house. They went inside the living room where Sarah was watching a show and having her medicine. They gave the roses to Sarah, she said “Thank you.’’ Sarah called Grammy; she came to her. Sarah said, “May I please have a vase for these flowers?” Sarah said thank you to Rosebud and Buddy. They left the house and went home. “That was a long trip, but not as long as last time.”
THE END.
